Manus plans the campaign, BuzzTake runs it

Manus takes a big job and works on it for hours. Add BuzzTake as a connector, and the job ends with posts planned on your calendar, waiting for a reviewer.

Manus, sample run. Manus researches three competitor launches, plans eight posts for LinkedIn and X on the BuzzTake calendar and submits them for review. Two of the drafts show as waiting for review.

What Manus can do in your social accounts

Manus is good at the long part: research the competitors, find the angle, write two weeks of posts. BuzzTake gives it the last part, so the work lands in your accounts instead of in a document.

Add BuzzTake under Connectors with Add MCP by URL; Manus finds the OAuth sign-in by itself. For a key instead, a Custom MCP connector sends an Authorization header with a secret that Manus keeps.

Manus Automations run on a schedule or on a trigger. A weekly automation can read your notifications, write a report and plan next week's posts as drafts.

It works on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook and Threads, and on every other platform BuzzTake connects. Each action is one tool, named as in the actions reference.

Jobs for Manus

Say it in plain words. These are prompts that work, and the calls they make.

  1. A two-week launch campaign

Manus studies how similar products launched, writes eight posts for LinkedIn and X, plans them on the calendar and sends them for review.

Plan a two-week launch campaign for Acme Sync on LinkedIn and X from 10 March. Research how three competitors launched, then plan 8 posts as BuzzTake drafts and submit them for review.

8 × create_content10 credits for each draft that goes out

  2. A weekly report on the accounts

An automation reads the notifications and the latest posts every Monday and writes a short report with what worked.

Every Monday at 9:00, read last week's notifications and posts on our LinkedIn, X and Instagram accounts and write a one-page report.

    3 × read_notifications, 3 × read_profile24 credits ($0.24)

  3. Find and follow the right people

Manus searches for people who post about your topic, checks their profiles and follows the ones that fit.

Search X for people who post about local-first software. Read their profiles and follow the 10 who build products, then list them.

    1 × search, 15 × read_profile, 10 × follow94 credits ($0.94)

  4. Answer the questions under a post

It reads a post's replies, researches each question and drafts the answers for you to send.

Read the replies to our launch post on LinkedIn, research each question, and reply to the ones I approve.

    1 × read_post, 3 × reply28 credits ($0.28)

Set up Manus

Do this once in Manus on the web. Manus runs in its own cloud and reaches BuzzTake there.

  1. Open Connectors

Open Connectors, select Create, then Add MCP by URL.

  2. Enter the server

Server name: BuzzTake. Server URL: the URL below. Manus detects the OAuth settings; leave the client ID and secret empty.

    Server URL
    https://mcp.buzztake.com/mcp
  3. Sign in

Sign in on BuzzTake, check the permissions and select Allow.

  4. Ask for drafts

Name BuzzTake in the task and ask for drafts with review, so a person approves each post.

    Task
With BuzzTake, plan 5 LinkedIn posts for next week as drafts and submit them for review.

Ways to connect Manus

The routes that reach BuzzTake from Manus, and how well each one fits.

Remote MCP, OAuth sign-inBest fit

Add MCP by URL. Manus finds the sign-in in BuzzTake's metadata and registers itself.

Remote MCP, API keyWorks

Custom MCP with the HTTP transport, the server URL, and a custom header Authorization with the value Bearer @BUZZTAKE_KEY, where @BUZZTAKE_KEY names a secret that holds the key.

REST APIWorks

A Custom API connector keeps a secret, and Manus can call the REST API with it from its sandbox.

POST /v1/accounts/{id}/actions
curl https://api.buzztake.com/v1/accounts/$ACCOUNT_ID/actions \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $BUZZTAKE_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"type": "post", "text": "Version 2.4 is out.", "wait": 60}'

What it costs

BuzzTake charges in prepaid credits for the actions it runs. One credit is one US cent.

Credits for each job on this page
JobCreditsUSD
A two-week launch campaign10 per post$0.10 per post
A weekly report on the accounts24$0.24
Find and follow the right people94$0.94
Answer the questions under a post28$0.28

A post, a quote or a message is 10 credits, a reply 8, a like or a follow 3, and a read or a search 4. A planned post costs nothing until it goes out. Reads are charged when they succeed, and a write that fails before the page changes is refunded.

Manus's model use is billed by Manus, not by BuzzTake. Every price is on the pricing page, and the rules are in Credits.

Approvals and safety

A person can approve before anything goes out, and every action is recorded.

Manus works for a long time without you, so let it plan drafts rather than post. create_content and submit_for_review put the posts on the calendar for a reviewer, and a key without content_publish makes that the only choice.

In Manus Studio on the desktop, local tasks have three permission modes: Ask for approval, Approve for me and Full access. They cover your computer, not connector calls.

  • Ask for drafts when a person must check first. create_content puts the post on the calendar, submit_for_review sends it to a reviewer, and it goes out only after the approval.
  • Give the agent an API key without the content_publish permission. It can then plan drafts and send them for review, and it cannot post by itself.
  • BuzzTake records every action: who asked, through which key, on which account, what the page returned and what it cost.
  • A sign-in step that BuzzTake cannot finish, such as a 2FA code, becomes a challenge. The agent asks you for the code, or gives you a link to a live browser where you answer it.
  • Only an owner or an administrator can allow an OAuth client. Disconnect it under Developers in the app, and its token stops working.

Limits

  • Add MCP by URL is in beta. Manus does not document per-tool approval for connector tools.
  • Manus Automations come in a fixed number per account: 2 scheduled automations on Free and 20 on Pro.
  • An action tool waits up to 120 seconds for its result. A longer action comes back with its id, and get_action follows it to the end.
  • The MCP server runs up to 8 requests at a time for one key or sign-in. Above that it answers 429 with Retry-After, and the client tries again.
  • One organization connects up to 200 accounts.
  • The platforms set their own pace. When one asks an account to slow down, the action ends with rate_limited, and a write that failed before the page changed is refunded.

Troubleshooting

Every error code and its fix is in Errors and challenges.

Manus does not find the sign-in
Use Custom MCP with the HTTP transport and a key header instead, with the key kept as a secret.
The campaign posted nothing
That is the intent of drafts: each one waits for a reviewer. Open the calendar in BuzzTake and approve them, or check that the task submitted them for review.
The client says the server refused the token (401)
The sign-in expired or was revoked, or the API key is wrong. Sign in again from the client, or make a new key under Developers.
An action stops at needs_input
The platform asked for a code. Give the code to the agent so it calls answer_challenge, or open the challenge's sign_in_url and answer in the live browser.
The answer is insufficient_credits
The balance is lower than the price, and nothing was queued. A post needs 10 credits. Top up, then ask again.
The answer is unsupported
The platform has no such action. The error lists the actions it has, and the generic browser action can do the rest step by step.
An account shows signed_out
Its session ended and no stored password could sign it in again. Ask the agent for a sign-in link with get_sign_in_link and open it, or reconnect the account in the app.

Manus questions

Can Manus post to social media?
Yes. With BuzzTake as a custom MCP connector, Manus can post, reply, follow and plan drafts in your accounts on 12 platforms.
How do I stop Manus from posting by itself?
Connect it with a BuzzTake key that has no content_publish permission. Manus can then only plan drafts, and a reviewer approves each post in BuzzTake.
Does Manus need my social media passwords?
No. The accounts sign in once at BuzzTake. Manus gets a BuzzTake token or key, never a password.
What does a campaign cost?
Planning drafts costs nothing at BuzzTake. Each post is 10 credits when it goes out, so eight posts are 80 credits. Manus bills its own credits.
