Claude Cowork by Anthropic

Cowork turns your files into posts

Cowork reads the folders you connect. With BuzzTake it can turn product notes and photos into scheduled drafts, and put this week's numbers into a report file.

What Claude Cowork can do in your social accounts

Cowork works with the files in the folders you connect: release notes, product photos, a spreadsheet of events. BuzzTake gives it your social accounts, so the files can become posts without copying text between apps.

Cowork uses the connectors of your Claude account, so the BuzzTake connector you add on claude.ai is there too. It uploads a photo with upload_media, plans the post with create_content and sends it for review.

Cowork's scheduled tasks run hourly, daily or weekly in Anthropic's cloud, also when your computer sleeps, unless a task needs local files. A Monday report from your accounts fits that well.

It works on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn and X, and on every other platform BuzzTake connects. Each action is one tool, named as in the actions reference.

Jobs for Claude Cowork

Say it in plain words. These are prompts that work, and the calls they make.

  1. Product photos into a week of drafts

Cowork picks five photos from a folder, writes a caption for each and plans them on Instagram and Pinterest as drafts for review.

Use the photos in ~/Shop/New in. Write a caption for each, and plan one Instagram post and one Pinterest pin a day next week as BuzzTake drafts. Submit them for review.

10 × create_content10 credits for each draft that goes out

  2. Release notes into posts

It reads the newest release notes file and plans a post for X and LinkedIn at the time you name.

Read ~/Work/releases/2.4.md and plan posts for X and LinkedIn on Tuesday at 10:00 Berlin time.

2 × create_content10 credits for each draft that goes out

  3. A Monday report in a file

A scheduled task reads last week's notifications and the replies to your posts, and writes a one-page summary into your reports folder.

Every Monday at 8:00, read last week's LinkedIn and X notifications with BuzzTake and write a one-page summary to ~/Reports.

    2 × read_notifications8 credits ($0.08)

  4. An event list into a pinned post

Cowork turns a spreadsheet of events into one post and publishes it after you approve.

Turn ~/Events/autumn.xlsx into one Facebook post with the dates, and post it after I approve.

    1 × post10 credits ($0.10)

Set up Claude Cowork

Cowork reads the connectors of your Claude account, not Claude Code's settings. If BuzzTake is already a connector on claude.ai, go to the last two steps.

  1. Add the connector

In Claude, open Customize, Connectors, and select Add custom connector. Name it BuzzTake and paste the server URL.

    Server URL
    https://mcp.buzztake.com/mcp
  2. Sign in

Set Authentication to Sign in now and the OAuth client to Register automatically. Select Add, then Connect, and allow the app on BuzzTake.

  3. Set the tool permissions

Set post, reply, send_message and publish_content_now to Needs approval. Drafts with create_content can run freely: they post nothing.

  4. Connect the folders

In Cowork, connect the folders the work needs, for example ~/Shop. Cowork reads only those.

  5. Pick the approval mode

Use Manually approve while you try it. Cowork then shows each step before it runs.

What it costs

BuzzTake charges in prepaid credits for the actions it runs. One credit is one US cent.

Credits for each job on this page
JobCreditsUSD
Product photos into a week of drafts10 per post$0.10 per post
Release notes into posts10 per post$0.10 per post
A Monday report in a file8$0.08
An event list into a pinned post10$0.10

A post, a quote or a message is 10 credits, a reply 8, a like or a follow 3, and a read or a search 4. A planned post costs nothing until it goes out. Reads are charged when they succeed, and a write that fails before the page changes is refunded.

Claude Cowork's model use is billed by Anthropic, not by BuzzTake. Every price is on the pricing page, and the rules are in Credits.

Approvals and safety

A person can approve before anything goes out, and every action is recorded.

Cowork has three approval modes: Manually approve, Automatically approve and Skip all approvals. Since October 2026, a task that Claude creates starts on Automatically approve, so set it to Manually approve when a task can post.

In scheduled tasks, Claude skips tools that their server marks as needing a person. Keep the connector's write tools on Needs approval, and let scheduled tasks plan drafts that a reviewer approves in BuzzTake.

  • Ask for drafts when a person must check first. create_content puts the post on the calendar, submit_for_review sends it to a reviewer, and it goes out only after the approval.
  • Give the agent an API key without the content_publish permission. It can then plan drafts and send them for review, and it cannot post by itself.
  • BuzzTake records every action: who asked, through which key, on which account, what the page returned and what it cost.
  • A sign-in step that BuzzTake cannot finish, such as a 2FA code, becomes a challenge. The agent asks you for the code, or gives you a link to a live browser where you answer it.
  • Only an owner or an administrator can allow an OAuth client. Disconnect it under Developers in the app, and its token stops working.

Limits

  • Cowork on the desktop is in Pro, Max, Ultra, Team and Enterprise accounts. On the web and the phone it is in Pro, Max and Ultra, in beta for Team, and in Enterprise when an owner turns it on.
  • upload_media takes an https URL, or base64 for small files. Upload large videos from a link.
  • An action tool waits up to 120 seconds for its result. A longer action comes back with its id, and get_action follows it to the end.
  • The MCP server runs up to 8 requests at a time for one key or sign-in. Above that it answers 429 with Retry-After, and the client tries again.
  • One organization connects up to 200 accounts.
  • The platforms set their own pace. When one asks an account to slow down, the action ends with rate_limited, and a write that failed before the page changed is refunded.

Troubleshooting

Every error code and its fix is in Errors and challenges.

Cowork does not see BuzzTake
Connectors sync when a session starts. Start a new Cowork session after you add the connector.
A scheduled task did not post
Scheduled tasks skip tools that need a person. Let the task plan drafts with create_content, and approve them in BuzzTake.
The client says the server refused the token (401)
The sign-in expired or was revoked, or the API key is wrong. Sign in again from the client, or make a new key under Developers.
An action stops at needs_input
The platform asked for a code. Give the code to the agent so it calls answer_challenge, or open the challenge's sign_in_url and answer in the live browser.
The answer is insufficient_credits
The balance is lower than the price, and nothing was queued. A post needs 10 credits. Top up, then ask again.
The answer is unsupported
The platform has no such action. The error lists the actions it has, and the generic browser action can do the rest step by step.
An account shows signed_out
Its session ended and no stored password could sign it in again. Ask the agent for a sign-in link with get_sign_in_link and open it, or reconnect the account in the app.
